Heath Nash

I make things from what other people throw away. I studied sculpture at Michaelis and have worked in Cape Town since 1999. The lights I built from plastic bottles and wire are in museum collections in Munich and Vienna, and in public commissions here. I founded Our Workshop in Langa and ran it from 2016 to 2022. I now run MakeSpace at Wunders, where factory offcuts are made available to other makers. Veils is my current work, a pattern tool that runs in a browser.
